March 31 School Board Meeting

Thanks to all who attended the March 31st School Board meeting and made their voices heard!

  Another community member spoke about walkouts and the suggestion that students did not understand what they were protesting. 'These students are young adults,' he said. 'Some of them are already 18 years old. They can form their own opinions.'

  During the board’s March 31 meeting, students, parents and community members raised concerns about numerous issues. Though 19 people were scheduled to address the board during the agenda-related portion of public comment, speakers were repeatedly interrupted by Board Chair Matt Susin, who said many of the topics did not relate to the meeting agenda.
